PARK HOUSE - LECHLADE

We were requested to provide a design for a replacement new staircase to this prestige home. The Client wanted a helical “stone” staircase that spanned from ground level to first floor with no intermediate support. The Architect created an image of the proposed staircase.

Designed in reinforced concrete with 150mm waist thickness, and constructed to from a 270 degree turn on plan with a half landing adjacent to the front window.

The staircase was finished with polished stone treads and wrought iron handrails.
